11-month warranty inspections in Jacksonville
Most builders give a one-year warranty on a new home. An 11-month inspection is a home inspection done before that year is up, so you can hand the builder a list of repairs while they are still theirs to make.
What you get. A home inspection, a written report with photos ready to hand your builder, and the wind mitigation and four-point insurance forms — all from one visit.
What it costs. One price for the whole job: $200 plus 12 cents a square foot, for a home in its first 12 months. A 2,074 square foot home is $449. The same in every neighborhood.
Who does it. Dan Fryer, Florida licensed home inspector HI1796. More than 7,000 inspections since 2010.
Got an email from us? We write once, with at most one reminder, to owners of homes that county records show were bought new within the past year, because the builder's warranty has a deadline and most owners are never reminded of it. If you would rather not hear from us, use the link at the foot of the email, or reply "stop" — you will be removed the same minute and we will not write again.
